Repeat Prescriptions
If you are on repeat prescriptions please nominate a local pharmacy to receive your electronic prescriptions. This makes the service safer and more effective in terms of time and tracking of prescriptions.
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered via the following methods:
- Clicking the link above – log-on and password are available from reception.
The white paper copy of the prescription( counterfoil) which comes with your medication from pharmacy. Please only make a tick against those medications which you require and either post to us or drop off at reception.
The last option is telephone. These lines can be busy and precedence is given to calls made for appointments and clinical problems, over prescription requests which should be non urgent. If options 1 and 2 are not able to be used, calls for prescriptions must be done Monday to Friday between 10.30am and 12pm only.
***Please make a repeat prescription request at least 1 week before medication runs out***
Please allow at least 48 hours notice excluding bank holidays and weekends for repeat prescription requests to be processed and order before you have run out of medication. Please help us by providing accurate details of the medication you are taking. If you have any problems please contact us after 10.30am Monday to Friday.
Many pharmacies offer an electronic service; if you are interested in this, please ask your pharmacy for further details.
We will aim to complete your prescription within 48 hours of receiving the request, Monday to Friday.
Reminders about your medication reviews with a doctor will appear in the right-hand-side of your prescription. Please do not order additional prescriptions without complying with your doctor appointment as we may have to refuse the issue of your prescription for safety reasons. You should also check if you require blood tests prior to your medication review.
